Sweet or Sour?
July 29th 2008 07:08
Generally a person is either a sweet tooth or someone who craves the taste of something sour. But what about the people who fall somewhere in the middle of that category? I being one of those people!
If you are also a person that can’t decide whether sweet or sour is your cup of tea I believe I have some perfect options and amendments for you.
Firstly- Salad dressing!! I must say I love salad and don’t feel complete of I don’t have a salad throughout in my day! But a salad without dressing is like Batman without Robin (Just quietly I loved the dark Knight, but where the hell was Robin?)
My never fail homemade Salad dressing never fails to impress a crowd. You will need:
Balsamic vinegar, lemon, olive oil, garlic and SUGAR.
Now I’m not going to sit here and say how much of each you should use, because who am I to say that. Generally you would like to use more olive oil then vinegar, and maybe go light on the garlic. Just make sure you put some sugar in the dressing, it complements the sourness of the vinegar and MAN it is good
Also another favourite for those who love pop corn, but cannot stand the dry and sour taste after while I have the perfect option. When you cook your popcorn, pour some melted butter and mix throughout the bowl and then sprinkle icing sugar all through. Seriously, it might sound weird but it will feel like your tongue is on a spring break vacation.
Lastly, the soft serve cone- or a homemade ice cream cone. This again may seem weird, but the saltiness of a chip (the french-fry kind) mixed with the sweet and creaminess of the ice-cream is divine.
